Ok. So actually they've been packed all week.
We have all the medical releases for the boys completed. We've stuffed the fridge and cabinets full of the boys' favorite foods and figured out how to use Skype so we can talk to them from the other side of the world.
Now we just sit and wait. It's bittersweet because we're leaving our most precious gifts behind in pursuit of a third blessing that we have been anticipating for 14 months. Yes, that is longer than a pregnancy. It's even longer than an elephant's pregnancy. It seems we've been waiting an eternity yet we're anxious as we approach the 11th hour. The unknown is unnerving and it's hard to imagine such a life changing event for our entire family without having all our kids at our sides. Despite all of this, we have to believe that we are making the best decision for everyone involved and we're sure this will become evident as our adventure unfolds.
We know all the prayer warriors are hard at work and we'd like to request a few specific petitions - prayers for us and our babies as we begin our journey. That the boys will cope and we will feel peace in our decision. Prayers for the safety of our boys while we are gone and for our safe travel. We cannot express how much we appreciate the prayers. Many people ask what we need at this moment. Prayer is the most important thing that you can offer us. We are humbled and amazed as we learn of everyone who is lifting up our family and we cannot thank you enough for that gift.

You are all definitely in my prayers, and I can't wait to finally meet my beautiful niece. Have a safe trip, keep us updated, and get home quickly.
